Summer is a fun time to take in a breath of fresh air, to spend time with family and friends, to get outside and enjoy nature, and to also dive into a really good book!
I am sure you, as an adult, have sat under a shaded tree, while you listened to the birds sing and felt wind gently blew while your nose was stuffed into a really good book. You know first hand how rejuvenating that pause and peace is for you heart and soul.
This summer, I wanted to help train my six year old, to have the patience to be able to sit and read several books this summer so that he can experience this same time of calm. So, I created a Summer Reading Book Challenge!
This Summer Reading Book Challenge, is LESS about how many books your child can read. (or if your child is younger, how many books you can read to your child). But FAR MORE about counting and reflecting how many stories you can get swept away in together.
It's always fun for kids to keep track of how many books they heave read. So thats why I made this fun chart.
BUT, I also added a fun feature which allows your child to reflect on the book, re-write back to you what they remember and retained from the book. And also giving them a chance to illustrate their favorite part.
You wont want to miss this absalutly FREE Summer Reading Book Challenge! FREE, because I want every kid to enjoy books this summer and I hope this can encourage them in a fun way!
Happy Reading!
